Folks,

I have an older Tab S3 running android 9.  Original, no hack no root.

All of the sudden I am no longer switch from English US to Thai using Samsung stock keyboard.  I have this tab for years since new.   Swiped space bar to switch the language for years.  Now I could no longer do that.

Looked in to it,  I noticed my Thai was gone so most of the languages.   Currently have about 10 or 12 left on the list.  Running update and languages still missing.   Took step further, factory reset and languages still missing.

How do I get those listings back?  Or am I being force to use another 3rd party keyboard so I could type in both English and Thai?

I currently have 3 active phone (S23, S21 and S8) Samsung keyboard work just fine.  All the languages are there, including Thai.

Not sure why with Tab S3 there are only few languages available to select.

Thanks,

KL

Thank you for your time and try to find a solution.   Personally I don't think Samsung will do anything about it.  Beside one of my current Galaxy S8 also have android version 9 same as my Tab S3.  It does not suffer the loss of languages.   I could add 50 languages if I want to comparing to the Tab S3 that only have like 12 total languages available.   I think it is broken, what or where I do not know.  I don't think reintroducing languages back in is not the case or something Samsung willing to investigate.  Probably more like too bad so sad, just buy a new tablet and be done with it.

The tablet is old anyway but still useable for what I needed it for.  Why bothering me was my Galaxy S8 is still working fine no issue, its probably as old as my tablet.

I will try to find and see if I have a total backup in my Smart Switch and restore it and if I can get the languages back.
