tab a cannot sync calendar with google

Recently my Tab A will not sync with google calendar. My phone will sync so it is not a problem with the google account. I have tried all the solutions I've seen posted so far. Nothing works.

try start using samsung clendar

I am using the samsung calendar. It synced until a few days ago. Now it wont

go to samsung cloud and allow automatic sync on both devices and then press synchinization again

I don't know what other device you mean. I only have one Samsung device and don't have the same problem on my phone. (Phone and laptop are not Samsung.)

However I have found a solution. I downloaded the Google calendar app and it synced! Also the Samsung calendar and my preferred app aCalendar now sync as well.  (I already had Google calendar on my phone.)

I think Google have recently done something to their calendar so it will only sync with their app. But then other calendar apps will sync to that. A bit clumsy but it works.
