Slim keyboard single shift key press switches language

Hi,

Just bought the #ef-dt630 slim keyboard cover for tab s8

Everything works fine aside from one issue: single press on either shift button (without any additional key) switches language between the 2 languages I have installed. 

I already disabled in settings all options to switch languages (shift-space, alt-shift, etc.). The language key still works (as desired), but also any single press on a shift key also switches language. 

Otherwise the keyboard and the shift key works fine. 

Any idea how to solve this?
