hi can anyone tell me the difference between these numbers for the a9 plus 5g

SM-X216BZAAEUA     AND SM-X216BZAAEUB

are they both uk models

EUA is usually the uk. EUB is usually Germany, france, Spain and other eu countries

ZAAEUB: intended for bulk or business distribution in the UK or EU region.

ZAAEUA: retail version sold directly to consumers in the UK

I'm not too sure. Usually warranty starts when you buy the item but since you're using a third party seller, there's no way to know for sure.

If you know the serial number of the device, you can find out. But that usually means buying it to know what the number is

It's always better to buy from an official retailer or Samsung directly; legally, you have a right to a warranty. If bought elsewhere, it gets complicated- to confirm a warranty contact contact samsung directly
