I.e. during boot ? I guess the samsung banner has just one orientation and that is for landscape. Once the bootloader has finished and android is running then it quickly changes to the orientation you are holding the tablet ?
The same could be said for the phones... they bootload in portrait with the samsung banner, regardless on how you hold the phone.
Does this bother you ? It only lasts the boot time and then goes to the correct orientation.
