S9 second screen

How can i use the S9+ as a second screen for my laptop? 

There is no 'second screen' button in settings for the s9.

The Samsung Second Screen app will not download onto the S9.

Thanks John. Unfortunately there is no second screen icon on the tab settings. Even when i pull down the menu. I do a search and second screen setting is not found.

It should have, it might not be selected in your quick panel layout. Edit quick panel settings and see if it's perhaps in the unselected apps.

swipe down from the top of your screen then press the pencil icon

I had a very long whatsapp chat with with a person at Samsung technical. Ran again through all the advice you kindly provided and still no joy! Went onto long and complex solutions which did not work. After a day wasted trying to fix this I finally gave up. What should be a simple solution simply does not work. Basically the S9+ does not have a second screen icon / setting.

Go to Settings>Connected devices and select Second screen and follow the instructions. Note your PC/Laptop must support Miracast in order for this to work. If your PC doesn't have wireless display support, you can still connect to it via USB and enable Second screen.
