S5e capable of gigabit speeds via ethernet?

Good morning,

Can anyone tell me if the S5e can reach gigabit speeds when connected to an ethernet adapter via Cat 6?

I am currently looking at the USB C To Ethernet Adapter Thunderbolt 3 Type C To RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet LAN made by Uni.

I also own a Tab S5e (I'm using it to write this response!)

In response to your question, yes! You should be able to use a Gigabit Ethernet adapter with your Tab S5e, and you should be able to reach Gigabit speeds as the Tab S5e's USB port does support USB 3.1.
