Want to raise an audio issue after update. Like others wanted Samsung to address this ASAP. To put it bluntly Dolby ATMOS is completely broken no matter what equaliser settings you use the only solution is to turn it off!!
I use primarily headphones and the sound is just unbearable with ATMOS on, I hope Samsung are listening to their users and fix this soon as I'm aware I'm not alone with this very annoying issue. On a side note anyway we could get a full Dobly ATMOS equaliser rather than a Samsung own brand having used one in the past on other products it gives the user much more flexibility in fine tuning sound for each individual. Thanks, I've used that in the past but not lately I'll give it a go, does it work globally or just on certain apps?

What's the best conversion for mp3's? I've just noticed that dolby doesn't make much difference. My music has been converted to 192 and 320 kb , 48000 sample rate

Same ship here for the S23 Ultra. They messed with the EQ settings and Dolby Atmos settings. They're claiming it's working as intended. Samsung casually dismissed the error report I sent. Clearly it's an issue with other devices also

This is pure gossip, probably the competition spreading rumors, take it as it is, but someone told me that in the SAMSUNG R&D department there is a competition, sort of an informal one, about who manages to brick more products. The team who bricked the WAM speakers and HW J and K sound bars plus some blue rays, they were the winner until last month with some 200.000 plus bricked devices. When samsung managed to blow dolby atmos, well  they had another clear winner, a different team  with millions of items laid to waste. Way to go guys! First you deny, than you keep your fingers crossed, than who cares.
