I own a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 model and i was wondering if the update will be rolling out on there and when?

The Tab A 2019 will get One UI 3 in June, most devices have got it earlier than expected so you may get it a bit earlier.

You don't want to get it yet, especially if you use external storage. You won't be able to access Micro SD card or USB.
