Hi, I'm trying to convert from Apple to android, seems apple died when Steve jobs did unfortunately. I have a query on SD cards. I've got a galaxy tab a 10.1 and I'm going to get rid of my iPhone 6s+ and get anoticed S7 edge. What do android folk do in this situation? Do you get an SD card for each or just eject from one and insert in the other? Also, is there an android version of iTunes that folk keep a music and photo back up to on a laptop? Say I lose my phone and get another, I plug in iTunes,  restore send it's as the one I lost was, do android/ Samsung do the same?

Hi welcome to android. if you are going to get a new samsung s7 I whould most likely get an SD card for the phone only as it can become tricky if you use the same SD card for two devices. also the sd card whould fill up quickly. Samsung offer an app that lets you safely transfer your data from diffrent makes of smartphones including iphone. Follow this link to accses smart switch http://www.samsung.com/uk/smart-switch/

As for itunes I dont think that there is an app that is officially itunes. There is an artickle on how to change itunes music to android here:  http://www.androidcentral.com/how-get-your-itunes-music-your-android

if you want to save images you may want to look into getting google photos as it offers free unlimited HD uploads. If you want to upload original copies you will have to use your allocated google space which starts free at 15GB if you require more space it will cost you. Here is more info about google photos: https://www.google.com/photos/about/

Hope this helps
