I have suffered a lot recently with my One Note while typing on a physical keyboard using Galaxy Tap A9+ (also happened on my Tab A7 10.1''). I tried two different physical keyboard and they both made the same error. I have finally managed to figure the solution out as below.
While typing in One Note these three errors happened consistently:
- When inserting a full stop ''.'' then ''space'' then press Enter/Return, it would insert a new line just above the paragraph I was editing.
- Another error was when inserting ''space'' then press backspace followed by pressing ''space'' again, it would bring the curser to the begninng of my paragraph.
- Another error was when typing quickly a letter followed by a space, it would insert the letter, but also bring the curser behind the inserted letter.
The above were happening only when Samsung Keyboard was selected as default from android settings. It happened only while using a physical keyboard, and only in One Note application. As you can imaging I struggled a lot. The problem seem to start occuring after you disable text prediction in Samsung keyboard settings, and the solution is to reset the Samsung keyboard settings and delete the Cache. I don't like text prediction, hence I am now using Google Keyboard, and everything is fine.
