My galaxy tab a...SM T580..

I have forgotten the password i have tried all the pressing volume down and power key and it just goes back to pin lock screen.  I cant do find my phone as i didnt set it up to use that...help

OK, you are going to have to wait for the battery to run out, then:-

  • Ensure the device is powered off.
  • Press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons.
  • Continue to hold Volume Up and Power buttons until the Android Recovery screen appears (about 10-15 seconds) then release both buttons. ...
  • From the Android Recovery screen, select Wipe data/factory reset. ...
  • Select Yes.
