[Fixed - Edge panels have fixed the functionality with a more intuitive design]
Currently I have to swipe the app I don't want away, go into recent, click the same app that was open, click on the app, then the split screen button and find the new app I want. This is a very slow process to switch apps and pauses/stops what ever app I wanted open still. Older android < 7 did this as I want and it was way better.
