I have a Samsung Tablet S6 Lite (2022 model) and I want to get Roblox on it as my Windows 10 Laptop does a rather terrible job of running it due to lack of RAM. I was thinking about getting Roblox on my tablet but I already have Minecraft on it and it lags a lot with Minecraft so I would be really scared to get Roblox. I have 12.2GB of storage left so would my tablet even be able to run it? Should I chance it or just get more RAM for my laptop?
Hi, My opinion, get more laptop RAM but see if your tablet can handle games first. Also, I should point out that it may lag on your laptop because you could be playing very high demanding games (or as Roblox apparently calls them these days - experiences). If you want to play high demanding 'experiences' on Roblox, go windows but see if your tablet is able to handle it. If you want to play light games go with your S6. Hope that helps, TheRoyalPenguin
Roblox does not have a single "GB" size, but rather uses a relatively small amount of disk space for installation (around 20 MB to 1 GB), with its total size growing to over 1 GB with downloaded game assets and cache over time. The actual space it occupies will vary depending on how much you play and the assets it needs to download and store on your device, but you can expect the folder to be more than 1 GB after some use.
Download it and see how it goes. If it runs slow or takes too much memory, uninstall the game.
Thank you Mr Penguin I'm currently trying to see if my laptop could deal with having more RAM as I am scared it could break but you make a very good point there. Ive wanted to play drawing games on Roblox which I think are pretty light games on it but I've been trying to work it out. Thank you for your help 🙏
Thank you for telling me that! Its some really good information because I thought when you download Roblox it downloads all the data of the games with it but I will have to try it on my device and see how it goes 🙏
No problem 😊. If you do end up in the situation where your laptop starts lagging like crazy, hold down the power button for 5 seconds to preform a hard shutdown, this will just make your laptop turn off as if you asked it to normally.
Thank you for telling me that. I was very scared that it'd do some damage to my device and the storage on it which is why I was skeptical as that has happened before to my old Samsung devices but I will try it 🙏
Ah yeah I've had that happen before whilst playing some heavy Roblox games and I think its overall damaged my laptop a load 😵💫 but I just try and play lighter games on it and now that I've gotten my new phone and are transferring everything over, I think it could work somewhat okay
Also as a side thing, you do know adding more ram to a laptop usually involves opening it up with a screwdriver and installing new parts? Kinda a complex thing to do.
If you were worried about installing roblox on a tablet, I fear you might damage your laptop if you tried an upgrade
