Ctrl W not working at all

Hi, since the new update on my S7 FE my ctrl W doesn't work for closing tabs on any browser (I use chrome and brave mostly)

I thought there was a issue with my keyboard or somthing but my ctrl T works completely fine and I can type W generally e.g searching with it 

On a github post I saw many others having the same issue (with other tablets as well)

Im not sure if its a bug or on purpose but is there any way to fix it?

I'm also having these issues with the S7+ using the book cover keyboard. Ctrl W to close tabs is not working on MS edge and chrome. I'm not sure if it is an android issue or chromium browser based.

im pretty sure its a android issue because ive tried on alot of other browsers and it still doesnt work for some reason

Yes, I encountered this issue, then found it was a shortcut conflict problem what I couldn't seek out the reason yet. 

Please come out and help, the expert!

I have the same issue on Chrome on my S9 FE with the book cover. The shortcut works fine on Opera and Samsung Internet, I don't know for other browsers rather than the ones I've mentioned.

I also tried connecting an external keyboard using an OTG dongle just to try if the book cover was the problem, but no luck.

Hoping for a fix soon.
