I bought a Tab A7Lite to use as a phone/tablet as I had been doing with my excellent S6, only to discover that it can't be used as such. It can only use a sim for mobile data and not calls. There is a convoluted way to link it to a phone but this method doesn't work with the S6. Anyone who buys a tablet with LTE would surely expect to be able to make calls with it so why is Samsung not stating very clearly that this isn't possible with this model. I used to consider Samsung a user-friendly and reliable make. I want to return this tablet to Samsung or replace it with something that works so how would I go about that?

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply. I wish I had bought it directly but I can't really return it to the retailer as it's not actually 'faulty'. Just a really odd design flaw. I was hoping someone knew how to get around it or that Samsung had so many disappointed users that they'd instigated an upgrade policy for the model.

Just a sole trader ebay seller, I'm afraid! I will ask them how they'd feel about that though. Cheers.
