Brightness during streaming.

I have a s9fe tablet.

Sometimes, while watching films, the picture is so dark that it's virtually impossible to see what's happening. I have turned the brightness up to maximum in the device settings , but the problem still persists. 

Can I enhance the brightness further? 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

@Psostoad: Is the issue persistent across all streaming apps and content? If you view the affected videos on another compatible device, is it significantly brighter?

My mind is drawn to that infamous episode of Game of Thrones which somehow made headlines for being overly dark, so this is worth considering.

I have tried viewing the program on my s9fe tablet and my s25 ultra phone.

The picture is dark on both devices.

Hdr can be a pain for dropping the brightness try watching something in normal hd and see if there is any change in brightness level
