Advise on start-up time.

Good Afternoon / Morning. I have a Galaxy A8 tablet.The only 2 programs it runs are   1 from Electrovoice for controlling levels on pa system and 2 Backing track studio for playing MP3 backing track files on stage. WIFI is never turned on, Bluetooth is on. When I press the on button it takes about 60 seconds from the Samsung logo coming on until the lock screen appears. Can anyone confirm this is about right? The tablet is about 2 years old but I cannot remember whether it took this length of time till it can be used. It is not used for any other reason.

I did a quick online scan, and this seems relatively normal.

However, I would suggest going to Settings > Apps and deleting any unused apps. Make sure to run Device Care occasionally. It might also be worth clearing the app cache for services and the tablet's cache in the recovery menu, which clears old update files, etc.

Make sure tablet had all the updates done. This being software and apps

Thank you for quick response. Will have a look at your suggestions. Not worried about the time it takes to start up but need to make sure it doesn't get any longer over time. Regards Garry
