I was thinking, instead of moving the volume bar to the left from the right that users have been asking, why dont you have the option to move it either left or right depending on the users preference by hard pressing the volume bar and draging it to the left or right? Like the edge panel? What do you think?

Thank you for your feedback. I've already forwarded a suggestion to be able to choose the side where the volume panel should appear. Indeed, that would be probably more convenient to users 😉. The suggestion is currently under consideration, let's see if the idea can be implemented. In the meantime, you can use the Sound Assistant app - The app allows you to move the volume slider wherever you want :).
