Visual notification

Whilst the phone screen is off and the handset is set down or on charge. There should be an option where you can have a ring of light motion around the front camera to indicate missed notification. This could be active if the phone is on charge, silent or when not in motion for a long period to visuallyindicate miss notification/s. I know this is possible as I've seen it used to identify the front camera is in use in this beta  version.  I did suggest this on beta 2 or 3 and was told too much drain on the battery. I don't agree as the AOD would drain more battery.

I come from a software development and testing background; on critical systems. Whilst I agree about the dev time, implementation, change management factors, without suggestions from end users as to a 'wish list' of what features they would like or improvements for future releases then you're not driving forward. The notification indicator was present on previous Sam devices and was a useful feature. Given that the current firmware offers camera flash notification as well as the camera / mic active notification at the top right, then all we asked for is for the consideration of developers exploring / expanding current functionality to possibly implement a visual notification.
Yes Beta releases are about finding current bugs and glitches, but they also allow for dev testing of new ideas and initial building of code blocks into the firmware release for future functionality.
