More privacy on notifications

Would be good to have an option to have more privacy on notifications a bit like the iPhone has.

Currently everyone can see messages when they pop up or click on the image when locked.

Would be good if you could set it to say just a WhatsApp notification with no other details.

Hi @adann,

you can hide the details of your notifications by entering Settings> Apps> The app that sends you notifications, for eg. Messages>Notifications> New messages> Lock screen> Hide content

Is there a way to show the same limited notification in the notification box when the phone is unlocked?

Hi @adann,

have you tried disabling "Show as pop-up" option? Then the Alert should only play a sound, show a status bar icon and show an icon on the Lock Screen.
