force 120 Hz

Please add an option to force 120hz on apps like Pixel has. The constant switch between 60 and 120 is annoying and jarring in apps that use camera or navigation. This should be an option set by the user; you're not apple to dictate what the user wants. Maybe put it in the developer options.

What device do you use? it's always set at 120Hz on Galaxy S20 devices.

Currently, it is possible to set 120hz and the option should remain stable. It should only switch back to 60hz when the device gets too hot (so there's a risk of it being damaged or hurting you).
So that's a safety precaution that is more important than keeping 120hz at all times 😊.

What about the s21?

When playing call of duty Mobile on ultra fps (which is capped at 90hz when I know very well that my device can handle 120hz without stressing) the screen refresh rate suddenly drops to 60hz mid game and ruins my entire gameplay, costing me that ranked match!! It's a very horrible experience with no way to force 120hz constant

Don't worry Samsung, I'll fix my Redmi k50 ultra soon enough and I'll leave your device for you
