With the maximum 5x6 grid size, certain widgets that should only use one line spacing from top to bottom are forced to use 3 lines with most of the widget being blank space and resizing will not allow them to be reduced vertically. So the end result being almost half available homescreen free space being taken up by a widget that only has 1 line worth of widget and 2 lines of empty space.
When Goodlocks Home Up app is used to create 5x7, this allows 1 line widgets to only take up 1 line
Right now that app does not work with this beta but if you had 5x7 set before upgrading, it remains 5x7 in the beta.
