We can cast our mobile screen on our TVs. It would be better and helpful we could watch our tv screen on our mobile. Before buying our Samsung tv, we had a LG smart tv. It had a remote control app, the app had feature to control the tv, also watch tv screen on the app. Please add the feature Please

This sounds like a feature that would also need some change in the TV software too. I'm curious to understand what's the use case to watch the TV screen on a phone? Do you mean live TV? If your TV has an android OS, you can also use the Google TV app which has a remote control feature.

There used to be an option to cast the TV to your device and control it through SmartThings but it looks like it was removed. Just checked on my One UI 6.1(.1) device and it's still there so it looks like it was quietly removed in One UI 7 (either that or it was never available on the S24 series). Samsung really should bring it back

I've never seen cast TV screen on mobile on SmartThings. But Samsung should bring it. Sometimes we have to watch something live, but unable watch in front of the tv because of situation issue

I used to try and use this and it was never really stable enough. It wasn't worth the bother.

I just checked again and my S22 Ultra on One UI 6.1 is still able to cast my TV to my phone through Smart View. I've attached two screenshots, you can see on One UI 6.1 it has the "Other device -> Phone" option which has been removed in One UI 7 for some reason.

My TV is an older model though (from 2019) so they may have removed the functionality on the newer TVs which is why they might have removed the option from One UI 7

Not available on One UI 4.1?

Just dug out my old Note10+ which is on 4.1 and it seems to be there. Even shows up in the splash screen about watching TV on the phone when you first open smart view. Also checked on an old S9 which is on 2.5 and that has the option too so it seems like it's been there a while and has only just been removed in One UI 7
