LED notification on AOD

Do you remember the old LED diode on S3 for example? We were able to change the color based on apps.

So the idea:

Add an option where we can turn on/off virtual LED on top left (just a dot, circle like 10x10px) for example, when AOD is set on tap to show.

So when the display is black and if we have notification, that virtual LED will blink. Changing colors based on app notification should be good option too. 

As part of another samsung community (otside from here) many of us want this feature.

We have edge notifications now... Fireworks even!

You can change a fair bit in notifications setting

Edge notifications is different from my suggestion.
Please start to read and THINK at same time.
Edge notification is ONLY when you watch the phone. When the display is black you wont know if there is any notification!

100% with you on that. I posted a similar message bemoaning the demise of the physical notification led on the Galaxy S9. Your suggestion sounds like a great alternative!

I agree. Please bring back the notification LED we used to have in the old days and integrate it into AoD or just whenever the screen is off even if AoD is disabled. It was a nice feature! 🙂

Parece que no se ha vuelto a saber nada de este tema por parte del equipo de desarrollo de Samsung. De hecho he actualizado mi modelo a un A54 5G y la opción del led de notificaciones no está incorporada. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
