Auto-Updating Album

The Auto-updating album feature is a good concept but it doesn't really work. For example i have nearly 2000 photos of my daughter on my phone but the auto updating album only pulled through 58 images and it doesn't let you put existing photos in the album only new ones taken by the camera. And if it doesn't recognise the face then you cant add it.

Isn't there away to tag peoples faces?

That's really useful and works well. Thanks.

However that seems to be only for general tags and not people tags. How do we do those as they're different.

Auto update album does not update automatically with new camera photos. It added all the photos when I created it but new photos from camera aren't getting into it.
