Enable Dual eSIM function (Multiple Enabled Profiles, MEP)

It'd be great if Samsung could enable the dual eSIM support that was introduced with Android 13 by Google with the feature being named Multiple Enabled Profiles, or MEP for short.
It would make my life so much easier — being able to have only one eSIM active at a time is a real hassle.

That would be a really useful feature to implement.

I don't think the hardware supports it. The eSIM profile is linked with IMEI 2 only, meaning it can only have one active profile at a time.

Seeing reports of the others not being able to enable dual eSIM on Google phones after upgrading to Android 13, that could sadly be the case.

Thanks for your suggestion, I will bring this to the attention of the developer team 😉

I thought the whole point was that MEP is a software/firmware solution to an existing hardware restriction??

One year later, S23 family launched, and Samsung still lags behind Apple and Google (Pixel 7 and 8 😎in this feature implementation.

It is sad.
