Hello, you can already achieve this with secure folder built into the device, If you want to enable this feature, head to: Settings > Security and Privacy > More Security Settings > Secure Folder; make sure you have enabled it.
Once you have set up a password and set up the secure folder, head into your app drawer > search secure folder > open the app > hit the + icon in the right > You can add the app you want to the secure folder or download another from the Galaxy store or Google Play store.
The secure folder app will now hide your app; accessing that folder and the apps within it requires a password.
