I've noticed that AOD uses 60hz refresh rate, can this not be reduced to 48hz or less to save battery? Previous Samsung phones and Huawei I've used never consumed soo much power. The AOD on my S21U eats through battery 🔋🤔

It's the same behaviour when you turn Power Saving mode on. The refresh rate is capped to 60Hz and remains at that. Power Saving mode should also bring down the refresh rate to save power :).

On the AOD, you could turn on the "Tap to show" option for AOD to save battery.

Interesting. I never use the Aod my self. Only tap to see but I was of the notion it would have gone down to 10 htz.
