Allow horizontal scrolling for app screen

Please enable horizontal scrolling option for the apps screen

You can do that if you tap on the three dots button next to the search field, choose "custom order"

The vertical scrolling is "alphabetical order"

You can still enable horizontal scrolling if you disable alphabetical sorting

Thank you all. However that is not equivalent to what's possible until oneui 6.1 where the horizontal scrolling also works with alphabetical sorting. Can that be enabled too?

100% I prefer the horizontal with alphabetical ordering
I do like the search bar at the bottom though
