Switch on washer via wifi

Hi. I have bought a Samsung Washer WW10T534DAW/S1 WiFi-enabled 10 kg 1400 Spin Washing Machine - White. I have connected it with the Smart App, I can send the information to the washer via the app. However, I have a problem with working it remotely because it says I need to switch my washing machine on and press start. 
I thought I could do that via Wi-fi. Can anybody help me sort this please! Thank you.

I have the same issue & would also like to know - I can't see the point of the app if you have to stand at the machine to turn it on. There seems to be no stand by mode. I also can't find the "delay end" that my older Samsung had. Really quite disappointed right now

Push the smart control button on the washing machine and hold it until it beeps. You'll be able to control it via smartthings app
