Bit of a long shot. Have had little help from Vodafone wondered if anyone had similar problems on here.
I am trying to set up Tapo WiFi plugs and light bulbs which only work off a 2.4ghz broadband signal. I have recently switched to Vodafone which primarily has a 5ghz signal but can be split to 5ghz and 2.4ghz.
The 5ghz shows and connects fine with my galaxy A53 5g but when I split the signal on my router only the SSID 5ghz WiFi shows up on the scan not the 2.4ghz. Consequently when trying to set up the bulbs and plugs through the tapo app if fails to find the 2.4ghz to connect with.
I have tried entering the SSID and password manually without success.
Pretty much at a loss as to what to try next.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't personally use the plugs, but after a quick Google search on the Tapo support page it suggests making sure the 2.4ghz wireless channel is set to 1,6 or 11. https://www.tapo.com/UK/faq/31/. Hope this helps.

That's a broadband router issue, I would make sure the both signals are visible.
