Philips Hue Sync Stops When Casting Audio

As the title says, I've got a house full of philips hue lights. I love that in the philips app you can sync the lights to music which is played through Spotify etc. And you can cast this music to speakers/speaker groups and the Phillips app continues to work in syncing the lights. 

I've recently discovered you can do this in SmartThings and the effect us SO much better BUT the SmartThing one only works when playing music via the phone speaker and not when casting to speakers/speaker groups which is disappointing.

Is there a setting I need to enable/disable or is this just an oversight from the developers?

I can confirm that this problem still exists. That's sad, because otherwise, this would be a great function. But if it only works when I play music on my Lumpy smartphone and not my hi-fi audio system, it's kind of useless.

Please, Samsung, could you help?
