Problem with pop up notification in messneger

Hey, I have samsung s24 and I have a problem with notification pop-up in messenger ap. Othres applications work properly for example my instagram show this notifications with out any problem but messnsger's notifications are only in dot form. Do you have an idea what I should change in my settings?

Hello. The notification pop-up option in Messenger has not been working properly for a long time. There are two settings responsible for this option but changing them does nothing.

As @Wiatrak24 wrote. The function has not been working in messenger for a long time. Maybe they will fix it in the next update.
