Klarna declined financing but charged anyway

I signed the agreement with Klarna to finance my new Samsung phone, but at the very last stage it was announced that I was declined. However  Klarna has withdrawn my deposit from my debit card. Is is some sort of fraud? Will they reimburse me? How can they decline my signed agreement and charge me anyway? For what?

You'll probably find the deposit is in a holding account and can take upto 7 days (usually quicker) for the money to show in your account again. It's more to do with your bank than Klarna as they have only requested the deposit amount from your bank.

No it's not fraud this is how every purchase works.

What right do they have to withhold your money without providing the service that it was intended to be a part of? It should be returned immediately.
