Just curious to find out what everyone's go-to is for product reviews. Do you have a specific YouTube channel, TikToker, or website you consult before buying a product?

Personally, I go to Rtings- who do you/ why?

certainly a number buy  products on a whim  and judging by some  of the responses conduct little research.  If buying a product I will do quite extensive research and consult a variety of sources including Tech publications  including the Verge,TechRadar, Rtings,Endgaget.  I will watch a variety of you Tubers, some of the ones others have not mentioned include Marcus Brownlee and Mrwhosetheboss.    I am not really into Tiktok

Like to keep up to date anyway and will pretty much do the same  even if not in the market for  interesting gadgets at a given time (particularly Samsung Devices).

I never watch their reviews for their opinions, I just watch to gather an idea of what to expect. Most often they flagrantly expose obvious personal biases and tastes, but it's perfectly fine, more often than not I'm not in agreement with them anyway. It's just good to be informed and I find it a little concerning people rely on opinions from a favourite to govern their choices.
