In a world of many online reviews upon every phone release... our favourite youtube reviewers... influencers.... and those social media that we take trust in... giving us information about the new technology and upcoming release hardware...
generally all have one complaint in common.
'There is no charger in the box. There are no headphones included in the box. It is just simply a phone and a USB-C cable. ' come on bring these items back...
However one manufacturer stands out to me. Upon every release,...at some various points during the year... launch preorders ... black fridays... summer cashback.... spring deals... this supplier works in bringing back these things that everyone on youtube seem to complain about.
Free galaxy buds 3 with every preorder. These used to be a cheap wired headset in the box... but now a free set of high ranged Bluetooth buds.
Free wireless charger including a fast charge brick and cable... for every review .. that only has to be a few short words on a website.
A free case retailing at £49 and actually of a pretty decent quality... simply for sharing a few of your thoughts.
Discounted care plans... a few months free...
So what do all the competitors offer ?
Have our fruity🍎 competitor EVER given away a free pair of airpods with their phone ? A free magsafe charger perhaps ? Or maybe offered a protective case ?
How about Google. A free pair of pixels buds ? A pixel watch ? A cheap care plan ? A free case ?
How about Honor ? Xiaomi ?
I guess i may have summarised my thoughts already... of why I personally consider Samsung one of the best companies that I am very willing to spend my hard earned money. I have done so for the past 10+ years and will likely continue to do so. The £1549 phone certainly isnt cheap. Would i buy the same phone again tomorrow ? Absolutely💯
I may be a 'Members Star' on this community, but contrary to some users believing that we are employed by Samsung, we are all simply consumers like yourselves... we spend our own money like yourselves, and we make our own choices and opinions.
Samsung have earned my personal respect for their great hardware, and they are (in my opinion) the best software UI out of all the competition.
This statement may vary in other peoples opinions... and this is why we have a community forum for these discussions. However this is a SAMSUNG forum so there will of course be some biases towards Samsung. Most people here either own a samsung phone, are fans of samsung phones or have an issue they would like to discuss with Samsung phones.
As a members star we spend our own time trying to understand users issues, offer help and advice where we can, and generally try and be pleasant to anyone that shows us a similar level of courtesy. Of course during some rare cases then a similar level of courtesy is not shown. However as we spend a lot more time on here than most, we often get a good grasp of the current issues, solutions, and the problems that are often faced with customer service.
Not everything in Samsung is always easy... there certainly are some customer service issues... and courier shipping often leaves a little to be desired.
But ultimately'THANKYOU SAMSUNG FOR MY FREE BUDS, MY WIRELESS CHARGER, MY FREE CASE, AND MY TRADE IN DISCOUNTS. ' . These are all very generous gifts that really make the company intentions stand out above everyone else.
I am sorry for anyone that experience anything other than the service level that is expected. But just remember that Samsung have all the right intentions in the first instance.
Shipping millions of phones, freebies, and providing seven years of software to billions of phones is not going to always be easy.
