Just sharing an odd little situation. Had a little scare as I thought I broke my S25U charging port.
Tried charging my phone at my desk—hm, not charging. Assuming it was loose, I unplugged it, the plug from the socket, and plugged the cable in, it charged for half a second then cut off. Hm, maybe the charger is broken? I went into the next room to try my other charger—it didn't charge.ah. Okay—I tried my partner's charger, which is a 20W charger (boo, iPhone), and it worked? Okay, so maybe it's that weird software glitch from a while back involving the 45W 5A cables? In my mind, clearing the cache partition has helped everything so far…it didn't.
Turns out, the little pin inside the plug snapped off into the cable, and my charger in the next room was unplugged from the wall. I wanna say this is the most lost I felt in a while.
*this isnt a samsung build fault- this plug is under my desk and gets tugged way too much by my chair
