Hello wanted to ask if my device will be safe, because it bricked itself(ran out of charge and now refuses to charge) I can't reset or backup my data and I have personal files I'd rather others not see, I managed to stick it on maintenance mode with 1% charge but I'm still scared that my data will just be floating out there for another customer or such to randomly find......my partner wouldn't be happy also just not pleasant for someone to have your years of data to freely look at 😅
I can't hard reset or anything like the such, I'm just worried for my personal data and accounts that I have logged on, on the device that someone could get my bank details and so forth it has me nervous to even send my device off for repair.

As part of the repair process I believe the Samsung Service Centre factory reset it anyway @Jakku which deletes information.
Be aware if you use a reputable repair shop instead your warranty could be permanently voided.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

@Jakku Assuming you cannot do a Soft Reset(holding in Power/Volume Down for around 10 seconds) or get into Recovery Menu.
Repair solutions with Samsung detailed here, ,can be booked at Samsung Service centre or a Doorstep option https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/repair/
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
