Fifteen years ago, the Samsung Galaxy S1 changed the smartphone industry. Now, in 2025, it's time to honor its legacy with a Limited Edition Galaxy S25—a perfect fusion of nostalgia and cutting-edge technology.
The exact dimensions of the original Galaxy S1, including matching bezels.
A removable back, just like the original, but enhanced with wireless charging contacts.
USB-C port for modern convenience while maintaining the nostalgic experience.
5 cameras cleverly designed to look like a single lens, paying homage to the S1’s minimal aesthetic.
A nostalgic-looking One UI interface that replicates the original Galaxy S1's design, but with modern features seamlessly integrated.
A toggle to switch between the classic and modern interface, giving users full control over their experience.
Super AMOLED display, identical in size and connector design to the original, making screen swaps possible between the Limited Edition and the original S1.
Silicon-carbon battery delivering 4,000mAh of power in the same space as the S1’s original 1,500mAh battery, ensuring extended longevity.
Smart hardware restrictions:
Camera and USB ports are non-swappable due to hardware limitations, ensuring only compatible components are used.
Antenna restrictions to maintain modern connectivity, as the S25 has vastly superior reception technology.
If the back cover is swapped with the original S1's, a warning message will notify users that wireless charging will not function.
Limited availability from June 4 – August 4, 2025, marking the exact 15-year anniversary of the Galaxy S1’s release.
Unboxing experience identical to the original S1, complete with retro packaging and classic accessories for extra nostalgia.
This Limited Edition Galaxy S25 wouldn’t just be a smartphone; it would be a collector’s item, a tribute, and a statement. It would appeal to long-time Galaxy fans, tech enthusiasts, and those who appreciate innovation rooted in history. The buzz and excitement surrounding such a release would be unmatched, bringing Samsung’s legacy full circle while showcasing how far technology has come.
Samsung, if you’re reading this, the community would LOVE this. Let’s make it happen.

When you get nostalgic for anything, grab your S-pen and draw your nostalgia. Here's your Galaxy S 😛

my mom is an artist, and the first thing she taught me how to tell if an image is ai generated, by a watermark, or fuzzy looking text/images. Ai art is seen as Hugely disrespectful to artists around the world. i will let it slide, only because i want people to know

i didn't mention a headphone jack, the type c port will defeat the purpose of it. The whole purpose of the new ui is to make everything look like it's from 2010, and a skin just won't cut it.

I draw and generate my drawings with AI. AI is just a tool like any other. I drew what you see in the picture. You can check what else I draw in AI subforum. Galaxy AI is excellent tool for artist and designers, I never hides that I use AI. Many others erased AI watermark, not me, I love Galaxy AI, which is best Sketch to image tool in my opinion

who knows? Maybe the smaller size might actually be more nostalgic to longtime users. The s10 was suppose to be the S1's 10th anniversary, but no one could tell so, I only know that the s10 was suppose to be the s1's 10th anniversary because i looked up if the s1 had a 10th anniversary. Maybe the smaller size, and bigger bezels, combined with modern features that actually fit into the custom One UI build might actually spike some nostalgia, and im pretty sure that moderation exists here, maybe samsung's moderation team will see this
