Figured we should have a thread like this.

Hi all! I'm AntS. 

I've worked for Samsung since 2014: starting on t'phone in the frontline Mobile/Tablets Tech Support team, moving on to the Online Shop Support team, then to the Social Media team, where I spent most of my time...  and which is how I ended up here.

My hobbies include reading (I might be a bit of a bibliophile), writing, drawing/design, the odd bit of rambling with my Dad, and despairing at the state of modern football (apart from at Lionel Messi - whom I might have a little mancrush on...)

I'm a Fantasy, sci-fi, comic book, and Saturday-morning cartoon geek. Love stuff like Lord of The Rings, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Blade Runner, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Supernatural, Babylon 5. Big fan of Transformers - the original '80s Generation 1 stuff rather than Bayformers.

Hello everyone, my name is Dean

I have had a few Samsungs in the past and started with the Galaxy S5 and I had recently moved to the Huawei P40 Pro to try a non-google mobile but I have now recently decided to go to the Samsung mobiles especially the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and have been a fan of flip phones since the 2000s.

My hobbies include 3D Printing, astronomy, computers, the environment (like walking in nature, etc, reading (mostly sci-fi books), and Science-Fiction.

I enjoy anything sci-fi. My favourite ones include Back to the Future, Doctor Who, Sliders, Star Trek, and Star Wars and the Time Machine

Welcome Dean, I too love my Samsung flip but I have the 5. I have been a Samsung fan since the S4 having the 4,6,8 20fe5g and new the flip 5 since October 13th 2023. I used to have Motorola flip phones the last few being the k1, theburgundy razor and some others. I haze all my phones except 1 where I face it to a friend as hers broke and within a year she managed to break it I had it for around 4 with no problems!!I keep all my phones in a case or a pouch, I used to have one on my waistband of my trousers whilst at work, then they seemed to disappear, but if you look hard enough they seem to be slowly coming back!. I do love Samsung but I staged they would rage customer service a bit more seriously as some people seem to have more trouble than others at getting decent service from them for repairs, they especially are fond of blaming the customer All the time and but every case is so!
They also like to bring out so many new phones every year, whilst I applaud there is something for everyone, they do have to make sure that their software/hardware is working correctly before constantly blaming the user. All these customers complaints can't be wrong! I'm looking guard to what they are going being out next but I do hope that this time round there won't be so many issues for users. I'm taking about the people who have had screen break or go blank after just 3 months or less, for these prices the users do expect a phone that is reliable and will just work!

Precisely @Starz12, I've been keeping an eye on and off for the right mobile again, and the Z Flip ones are right up my alley as for say thinking of the past and future at the same time. I also have the Galaxy Watch7 and the GalaxyBuds3 to replace my Huawei Smartwatch Fit3 and Huawei FreeBuds 5i earphones.

I have the Samsung galaxy watch 5 40mm bt version but since just before Christmas I can't wear it due to breaking my wrist and it's still not back to normal, unfortunately I find it uncomfortable to wear on my right wrist even though I'm right handed, I tend to wear it on my left wrist. I do try and keep up with all the newest technologies even if at the time I can't get them! I got both my flip and watch 2nd hand after both from different owners had only used them for around a month. Both items were in excellent condition I did register them in my name with Samsung. I keep both updated as often as I can and look after them. I have the Galaxy Buds 2+ and live Buds which the live ones came with my s20fe5g when I was on contract. The flip and the watch are the first in a long while that are solely mine! So a nice sim only plan for me yay! I'm also into doctor who but wish they would stop with all the woke! It's turning me off the series slowly and I'm not too worried if I miss it now. I also liked the original star trek with kirk and spock 🖖. I love ancient aliens and ufos, curses of skinwalker ranch and oak island. I also love top gear and Clarkson farm, caught on dashcam. So many good programmes out there to mention. Take care.
