Sadly with Product development timing this decision has already been made for probably the S26, now just a mad marketing panic to release it before Apple.
Another example of marketing chasing its tail rather than the customer.
I was an early adopter of wireless charging, hated it as slow and inefficient (too much lost in heat), each new wireless charger it try and find its got quicker but also hotter.
Even in cars I do not use the wireless charger, as it heats the device to a critical level most times shutting down, especially when Android Auto wireless blitzed all wireless connections for projection.
