How Invested Are Smartphone Users In AI?

The reason I am asking the question is because according to a survey by  Sellcell, the average smartphone user is not that excited despite the buzz.  Of course usual caveats apply though some aspects are a bit surprising.

The survey asked Samsung Galaxy and iphone owners a series of questions but I will focus on Samsung here.  only 46.9% had tried the features and 40% felt that the AI features were not sufficently accurate.  87% also had the belief that the Ai features offered little value and 94.5% would not wish to pay for a subscription.

However I notice that the survey results were originally revealed in December and therefore before the launch of the S25 series.  can see more details in this article, I think the Headline is a bit misleading though.  can see more in this article and there is a link to  more survey details https://www.techradar.com/phones/new-survey-suggests-the-vast-majority-of-iphone-and-samsung-galaxy-...

Personally I love AI. Daily usage, for pretty much most activities during the day- especially researching (obviously with a hint of salt)I think AI is an incredible addition

Ai is certainly a beneficial tool and the Samsung features a great addition but imagine would be reluctant to pay extra.   The information is not always accurate, therefore some caution required.

Hello 👋 @JAMES4578

AI is here to stay so I can see more and more phones users and companies using the various aspects that are already available.

AI certainly has it's positives and negatives depending on how it is ulmtilised.

I use some features such as photo editing AI features, some colouring features, , some text editing features, but don't really use the bots.

I personally use it for things like photo edits like erase something, or sketch to image and I love Samsung’s AI, don't use gemini as i asked for questions few times and it was hit or miss. I think for those who is fully into AI and want full potential and willing to spend 200£ per month chat GBT pro offers everything, with most complex questions or tasks, but that is for specific group of people, but I definitely see that all the companies will implement AI where's you would want the new features that it might have in near future.

Thanks for all the responses, certainly Galaxy AI is very good for photos/creativity . Some elements need refinements though I am sure the Technology will be constantly improving. With AI need to ensure the benefits outweigh any misgivings but not everyone will be convinced.
