Strange to really bring this up but I spoke to my friends and informed them all about this community and all the details. They've began encourage me to aim for Samsung Star Member. 

Ultimately ive yet to give them a definitive answer on weather i will or won't as my active here is mixed especially with work and daily life but who knows. What do you guys think? I'm stuck in the middle.

It is always good to have aspirations in life so if it is something you aspire to, go for it.

But it also has to work you you in and around your life and only you can decide that 🙏

Being a Samsung Members Star is about being active of course.

It is about helping others and being courteous along the way although not everyone sees it that way lol.

Offering solutions.
Learning.
Helping.
Promoting the brand but also not being afraid to say when Samsung may have got it wrong in your view.

Be constructive.
Constructive criticism is OK.
But also being prepared to accept that others may be better placed to help in some requests.

Finally - it is most important that you enjoy helping others and get the most out of the community.

I do enjoy helping people the best I can and ive actuslly had a decent track record of criticising Samsung when I feel it's needed also Promoting the brand?

Stars are chosen for those who stand out. Its not automatic, but you are picked by a real person. @Piper123 pointed out the details.

I have been here since early this year and would like to say I have been somewhat a good part of the community- checkout my profile, but I don't expect star status anytime soon nor 'expect' ever to be. These forums are one of the most involved I've seen and thats more than enouth reward

I considered being asked if I would like to become a member star or Samsung Maker as it was before. A real surprise.
I wasn't looking at it at all really. I just was looking to get as high up the ranking system as possible eventually.

It's only recently that we have an excellent admin team that work really hard to get some of the perks we have now.
How long that lasts for, will see.

It's just primarily for the recognition of your activity on the community.
I too am a bit inconsistent with when I can do stuff, like you. Work sometimes makes it difficult to do much.
But fit it in where I can.

If you get asked, why not. But just keep doing bits here and there where you can

It's more about what you post.
How helpful you are and others stuff as @Piper123 has mentioned.

Im not exactly sure who picks anyone. Probably the admin team do and gets forwarded to head office to approve or not.

If you stand out and get noticed for your efforts. It's something at some point you maybe asked about.

I'll probably stick to what I'm doing and if I'm asked then I'm asked if not then I'll keep helping the community for as long as time let's me.
