Silent mode

Hi hopefully someone can help, I havve my phone on silent pretty much permanently largely and isn't a problem as nobody too important if I miss a call, although I have a sick friend who needs support in the night, can I just have the phone ring for her and silent for everyone else? Hopefully one of you smarties can help, thanks in advance 👍🏻🙏😊

Have a look at blocking mode, you can select who's calls/messages it allows through whilst remaining silent for everyone else

I've found a setting in her contact allowing ringing when phones on silent, although I'm hoping it works for messages too. Thanks for your reply 👍🏻
