Hello Samsung community, can anyone help me? I recently got this monitor that should come with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, but setting on the monitor are only showing 60 Hz and 100hz.

How to set 165 Hz? Also cannot find where to activate HDR? Thanks in advance.

Software version on monitor: M-T55343GCPA-1005.3

Model code: LC34G55TWWPXEN

Hello!
I don't have the same monitor model as yours, but I did have a Samsung monitor a while back. Here's what you can try, hopefully it helps:

1. Check if your graphics card can handle 165 Hz and HDR.

2. Update your graphics card drivers to the latest version.

3. Right-click on your desktop, go to "Display settings," and set the refresh rate to 165 Hz. Look around for HDR settings too.

4. Check your monitor's buttons for an on-screen menu. Sometimes the settings are hidden there.

5. Apply the changes and restart your computer if needed.

Hi !
Based on the model code you entered, we can see that there is a difference between the port types in terms of the refresh rate they can handle.

HDMI for this model can only handle 60 Hz / 100 Hz

DisplayPort for this model can handle 60 Hz / 100 Hz / 165 Hz

Do you have the device connected via HDMI or DisplayPort?

As for HDR, HDR is only available on Windows 10 systems with graphics cards that support Play Ready 3.0 Digital Rights Management (for protected HDR content).

You then need to double check that your graphics card supports Play Ready 3.0 Digital Rights Management

Have a nice day!

/Madeleine

We just purchased Samsung 34’ Odyssey G5 Ultra Wide gaming monitor with 1000R curved screen and 165Hz, and this also only seems to only show options for 100Hz. Any idea how to get an Xbox series X to play at 165Hz?
