My watch went on a reboot loop after I accepted the last Samsung Pay update. I then tried everything to fix it, from letting the battery run down and restarting, unpairing, hard reboot etc.
I then sent the watch off to Samsung to get it repaired but they said that they'd charge me £50 to diagnose the issue as it was our of warranty.
I declined the charge, as I thought it was extortionate. I'm now left with a watch that won't even accept charge and is completely useless.
The watch is about 5 years old, but if I had paid £250 for a mechanical watch back then, which had then stopped working, I would expect to be covered under the Sale of Goods Act, and not need to rely on a warranty.
Is there anything I can do to get this sorted, or am I just left with needing to purchase a new watch (probably not a Samsung one after this experience)!
