Disaster in my small office

I have just installed two new monitors on my desk (samsung 32-inch odyssey g7), and both came with a remote control.

They look very fine, but when I use a remote control and swith one monitor off, both reacts, so both will be switched off or on.

But the home button on each remote works just for the specific monitor, and same when navigating in the Hub.

Ok, that could be possible to live with, but I also have a Samsung TV on my wall, and when I use the remote to the TV, my two monitors on the desk go crazy and swith to the hub (Samsung channel list), and using the remote control will now have impact on both the TV and the two monitors.

And even worse is that when I switch of the TV it also switch of the two monitors, BUT the two monitors seems to detect that they are connected to a pc, so only one of them switch off.

Now I have one monitor on and one monitor off, and the disaster is that both react, when I press the on/off button, so to get both screen on I have to use the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

The two monitors are for a PC, so is there any firmware that can remove all the smart TV-functionality, as I want PC-monitors and not TVs

A short update

1: Disable HUB in the settings for the monitor

2: Tape the infrared receive with black duck tape

These two steps have helped me to get at a level, where it more feels like 2 monitors
