Can not access memos on Samsung Cloud

I wonder if anyone can help me. My S7 suddenly died, and took all my memos in the Samsung Memo app with it. According to Samsung Cloud, I have 700+ memos stored in my account, however, when I try to sync my new S23 (as well as a new, refurbed, S7) to my Samsung account, it only downloads 300+ memos from the Cloud.
These are all memos created before 2018. All memos created after 2018 (the ones I really need) are stuck in the Cloud.
According to Samsung Support (probably the worst customer support ever), the memos in the Cloud are "corrupt" and can not be downloaded.
As I have seen posts in the forum from others, who have exactly the same problem, I think the actual issue is linked to the Samsung Memo app being updated to Samsung Notes.
So, my question is: has anyone here had the same problem, and managed to solve it?!
