Sometimes when I take the phone out of my pocket I have to enter the PIN code again, just like if the phone has restarted, but I don't have to use the password to get into it afterwards. 

Then I have a problem where I can randomly get an error saying it can't find the SIM card. 

I've replaced it and it was fine for about 1-1.5 months before it started again. 

I've now changed the location of the card so we'll see if it gets better. 

I bought the phone (a Samsung Galaxy A35) at the end of May so I don't think it should be messing around this much already.

There's no way to put it loosely on the sim tray for it to happen it must be the wrong size or a damaged simcard because with the sim tray on her device it snapps into place. There's a ridge on the sim tray that prevents the simcard to loosely fit in place. 👍🏼 i have 2 a models in my workshop and when i examined the simtrays they are identical and the ridge is slightly smaller than the simcard so it locks it in place. 😉

It looks like this the ridge is hard to get on camera but on the backside (in some regions) you have a place for an SD card. And the ridge there is mor petruding. And with the small latch you can lock the sim in place. 😊 please mark as solution if you're question got solved. So that other users can use the tips we provided. Eller så är det simkortet det är fel på vilket låter mest troligt. Men rekommenderar ändå att gå via Samsung support om problemet kvarstår även efter simkorts byte
